Amy is a passionate educator and leader dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments for all students across diverse learning profiles. She is the Founder and Director of Conduit, where she promotes inclusive education practices through workshops, consultations, and online resources. Amy’s work focuses on fostering academic, social, and emotional growth for learners of all abilities and backgrounds through strategic partnerships with families, schools, organizations, and community groups.
With extensive experience in educational leadership, Amy has served as the Director of Innovation and Head of Global Division and Online Programs at Lab School in Washington, DC, Head of School at Discovery School, and in various special education teaching roles internationally. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strong business acumen through successful project management, budget oversight, strategic planning, and resource optimization to maximize organizational impact.
Amy’s international perspective is informed by her experiences living and working in Belfast, Northern Ireland; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Limon Dós, Nicaragua, as well as extensive travel across five continents. Her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is reflected in her academic background, professional development, and teaching practices.
Currently, Amy serves on the Spy Museum Teacher Advisory Board, is a member of Women in AI+Education, and is a founding member of the Human Intelligence Movement.
For the 2024-2025 school year, Amy presented at a variety of conferences including MassCue (featured session), Nysgate, VSTE, and Pete&Co.
For the 2025-2026 school year, Amy is focusing on building Conduit’s team capacity to present at conferences and step into more leadership roles.
